BAWANG
MERAH AND BAWANG PUTIH
Once
in the days of yore in a village there lived a widow who has two children a
beautiful girl Bawang Merah and Bawang Putih. Bawang Putih fat her’s has long
passed away Bawang Merah and Bawang Putih have different properties and
opposites. Bawang Putih is a girl who is simple, numble, diligent, industrious,
honest and kind while Bawang Merah is a girl who was lazy, arrogant, greedy and
envious.
All
homework assigned to the Bawang Putih because mothers and Bawang Merah are lazy
ranging from cooking, washing clothes, cleaning the house on a day when Bawang
Putih washing clothes in the river his mother washes clothes into the river.
Bawang Putih was surprised because his fear of being scolded by the mother then
Bawang Putih down the river until late but have not found her mother’s clothes.
Until
at last he met with and old grandmother who lives in a hut near the river .
Bawang Putih asked old grandma if she saw her mother’s clothes are washed away

Bawang Putih should help work the old grandma Bawang Putih able because he has
been working hard on his next days home leave Bawang Putih. The old grandma
gives mother’s clothes while offering two large and small pumpkins as a reward
for a job Bawang Putih not greedy because he chose a small pamkin.
After
returing home the mother and Bawang Merah angry to Bawang Putih because Bawang
Putih come late, and pumpkin are brought Bawang Putih at his mother seized an a
jump up to repture. All pleasantly surprised because of the pumpkin is out
jewelry, Bawang Merah and his mother asked to Bawang Putih where he got
pumpkin. Short story as old grandma gave the pumpkin to Bawang Merah, Bawang
Mereh chose pumpkin are large because he is greedy. Open Flask in his will a
long with his mother but not the jewelry that exist in the flask but venomous
